In Cyprus, as a small community as it is, most people know each other and create ineluctable social networks, within which I’ve had a good influence from a lot of people in the art business. One of our family friends works with paintings, who taught me well how to use watercolors in earlier years and another one owns a handcraft workshop, where I’ve learnt a few things on how to work with wires, fabrics, threads, fimos etc. More recently though, I got to work in my dad’s office, who works as an architect, and I helped him a lot by making 3D buildings of a few architectural designs on the 3dmax and a bigger work which involved the interior design of a flat in the form of pictures and a video. The most important offer I got so far was from someone who owns a comic store, to illustrate a small comic story next year and then publish it, after he visited my blogger and got excited with my work. I hope that I’ll be able to fulfill his criteria.
